This is a course that will teach you how to use SvelteKit to build simple apps. You will learn how to use the new skills you learn in the course to build these apps.

After you’re done, you should be able to make your own multi-page websites with SvelteKit after you finish.

People who need to know this:

  1. HTML
  2. CSS
  3. JavaScript

We think you have some basic knowledge and experience with the languages we’re talking about.

You will learn the best ways to use SvelteKit as we build a blog site during the course.

This is what you need to do for your class:

  • Internet connection is stable.
  • Windows, Mac, or Linux laptop or computer.
If you want to get a taste of the Svelte language before you buy this course, check out the tutorial on the Svelte website.

The course lecturer will be available to help with any problems that may come up during the course. If you get stuck somewhere, you can ask in the Q&A area.

The following are the concepts that we will cover:

  • Making New SvelteKit Web Apps from Scratch.
  • Web pages with master page layouts can be made.
  • Creating multi-page websites that have navigation built-in.
  • Creating Fast Lightweight Web Apps.
  • Web applications can read and show Markdown files with MDSVEX.

This class only talks about how to build the front end of SvelteKit. A server-side concept and how to deal with the complexities that arise there will be shown in the course, as well as how to deal with them. Even so, the main goal is to make a fast and lightweight static website with ease by using the SvelteKit framework, which is very simple.

Who this course is for:

  • Web designers with a lot of experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Frontend developers who want to learn a new and soon-to-be-released framework.
